The Transition Sleeper Amtrak Phase VI #39041 Superliner II is perfectly designed to be hauled by Kato’s EMD F40PH locomotives or GE P42 “Genesis” locomotives. All details are installed at the factory, and the metal weights provide a realistic sense of weight and momentum. Additionally, optional Kinematic couplers are included, which allow for realistic close coupling while still being able to navigate tight radii. Furthermore, the free rolling, detailed trucks with rotating bearing caps (exclusive to Superliners and MHC’s) and shock absorber construction add to the overall authenticity of this model.
